Sorry to those who have been waiting, I haven't been in the photo mood lately. Today I finally got the nerve to give the camera to my dh to take some shots of me. Its hard for me to imagine that I'm going to keep getting bigger.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322088752877520274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhogcCxb1cOB-NdYC_ChXC9Oh94f8InHmipVUaIoRRrjHUuv-fJDnHtWXPO8V-V2-UUTOs_OvdntrJLnNq4bxZPfTWQpCW5br4oay9XDoppRV060t0AocnBlrYQA1puS6Ldy547-6dzNzs/s320/100_1997.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322089053488919410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1L8cgNYTgjPGGLwNlc7zvk3A2aMK4QUCQPU5gcRRHAIWwE-Cmz5_xP_gIKFI4NihDliMJZ8nyIt4dvsK2vpLLwVNZg9gHcEKwawNwLiQWtglZ6NOX-qYFNv5u7yNkNLfcF0pGRO2EiNg/s320/100_1998.JPG" border="0" /></p>The nursery is starting to feel like a baby's room this week. The crib and changing table arrived, and we were able to set up the room some more. I have pictures I've made to put up on the walls, but I haven't decided what order or where to put them yet. Once I have those up, the bed skirt and bumper on the crib, and the rocker in the room, I'll take some more pictures to show you the whole set up. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322090823864803186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXRogiivkWc6WSJMltQKEkDTaMEVVua_K7XZMYZLh8SwgCNsf8KzIHZcXBmD3fvjvlfS2dDbA01F-I9qZZ4xx4DAIjCIk18G5yNIMxZYJ89_pwODELgjCjNa9YH03jtE_ueCuY8Jfxbac/s320/100_2000.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322090996527426450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLu7hpPWBA569QhyphenhyphenxZZIBduXRpZxHLmq0S1mrcpdgd1Dt9lc5DOf8S6frDMJwGL9PGickcxJDVl92UPLLr09kmt01YDYU3nLNCyrPv9vNziSwxhVBAM8qYCXIbNesOXhtHVpqpwe9hzMw/s320/100_1994.JPG" border="0" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGMRKNDYfeZpymMHgCr9UT40rGhD1vT7cM4Yof-eWBz2ldInIr9Tgfy8doMxwPgPBIkd6ZNsZlxMFXJwpLAiV4q56Q8trs_5t9pRXru1XlPhBfK8fXfILxB6GLbOCvhnNH9P9rSeGGAjs/s1600-h/100_2001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322091195276040866" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 297px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGMRKNDYfeZpymMHgCr9UT40rGhD1vT7cM4Yof-eWBz2ldInIr9Tgfy8doMxwPgPBIkd6ZNsZlxMFXJwpLAiV4q56Q8trs_5t9pRXru1XlPhBfK8fXfILxB6GLbOCvhnNH9P9rSeGGAjs/s200/100_2001.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSQkbiC10TNGfMIUOkxn_Lsmmpmu4P2V6R_8shg0HXOmF6c45O21DVG8rgwJwkutaydfMcc5IgvXWfTXNl_fymZ68qSlhvMCBouAwRCR_8llU7medyeYMu_MPBOuNHw4AAGJKx-pbxt2E/s1600-h/100_2002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322091353979841282" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 288px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 207px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSQkbiC10TNGfMIUOkxn_Lsmmpmu4P2V6R_8shg0HXOmF6c45O21DVG8rgwJwkutaydfMcc5IgvXWfTXNl_fymZ68qSlhvMCBouAwRCR_8llU7medyeYMu_MPBOuNHw4AAGJKx-pbxt2E/s200/100_2002.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>If you didn't already see the quilt on my mother's blog, check out the cutest crib quilt ever hanging on the side. We even found some stuffed animals that matched to put in the crib for now. Another birthday gift I got from my mother is this adorable onsie. The soon to be daddy likes this one the best.</p><p> </p><p> </p>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-18690432206111735202009-02-24T16:52:00.000-08:002009-02-24T17:15:38.969-08:00We just couldn't wait....So this whole time my hubby and I have been telling everyone we were going to wait to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. Well the day of the ultrasound came, and our curiosity got the best of us. So for those who don't know already, we are having a boy! We are thrilled, and the soon to be daddy is starting to get excited. We don't have a name picked out, but we are starting to play around with some. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to help us out. <div><div><br /><div>At 21 weeks my belly has popped out now. It's starting to feel like my tummy is getting larger and larger every day. </div><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306533379251141378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjluQw8jANSFFmZu0OCAy-Ld9h0HiHCkhgHnsbuNvgSu3HRLKWWEoYG8yKvlzhFqi2X-mZIV-FCHj6I8RRmU7nJCLK94r9hPkVd0k335aXwZdmbb5eOsUKcxpvw5V2k3oJw2GDJrl9vv9I/s320/100_1978.JPG" border="0" /> I don't know how he did it, but my DH convinced me to start taking pictures showing the belly off without the shirt down. I'm personally not a huge fan of this picture, but he thinks its better so I decided I'd show it off to all of you.<br /></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306533587404619346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCH_A844g16HP3mvMODDcjy7P7RJSenr6uZ6J3GDOlQCPCutYFu1eYiJQdqXjSY-v9Q938sT6H5T_sD67hRqFvMjvQK3xm9Lr5CsxRn9GvBsPLmZ12ouANZVfsha_IzswuVS6_CEvdrOs/s320/100_1977.JPG" border="0" />I did take a good trip to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Ikea</span> recently with my mother, and had a blast picking out a bunch of stuff for the baby's room. So about a week ago, I cleaned out all of my craft projects and started setting op the room. We don't have much furniture yet, we are waiting patiently on the crib from dad, but I was able to throw <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">curtains</span> up and rugs down. Here is a few pictures, so you can get the idea of the color scheme we are going for.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306536460471188978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFq8KQN7ecCqpsBTXmqdWadUxLnPVsFifmAv_GaWSr3EWAqNQzXlbUYlPtPbX2p7JQuDPmnaXsoevLylgSVEoip_BmKuagiVgIOaXOldWPWGiBe6LUCAOHLVYSXwIYJkW-kLR24MXUyns/s320/100_1985.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306536753380074482" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlbV6kXROTzdODnxS2y3w1yfVYx_hPiPWQxnmLA2IeDqQ_t4F8H9fV474l_Xmg4AvKLwCboSZv3sLtVB4ewxDdETrj_ILoVRaPBY2ODkqMKEbz2n-EXW2b8trZ5VYSFTt3qqNxq6jAhI4/s320/100_1986.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div></div></div>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-84889968920957597352009-02-02T07:21:00.000-08:002009-02-02T07:37:26.150-08:004 weeks later....<div><div>So another 4 weeks have passed, and its time for the monthly picture. Now that my belly is starting to get bigger, it was time for me to pick up some maternity clothes. I've always been a big fan of shopping (like most ladies), but shopping for maternity clothes is another story. It is not so fun. I did end up with a few cute shirts though. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298222061204176306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB2jrVo-v_9ElFO7bFouhhyREqw3WEg_KuknQyUmtcOfIfkli-WJRa4jWxRtzk7iORvf7-fVkWGscJvsD4UPTz9Y7qd5xxziVoC7a_GPdt4JNKcwEIo09bz8Lx58fZQ2SDEmeZGsk4fBs/s320/100_1973.JPG" border="0" /></div>On another note, yesterday Hubby and I threw a superbowl party with a bunch of our friends. I decided to cook a few things, and I think I may have gone a little over board. Not only did I make a bunch of food, our friends brought some great food too. Even this hungry pregnant lady couldn't eat enough to make a dent in this food.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298223339670550338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmg3WR4_STirW8O6pasvqupi-U_Cu_VWoS37u1VzmdCIYH2pNdwZ-9GZcmzlNlzc3Wl7rGskUMvxtA8mQ8zzZHJHEOpuL05W-rEB5Oy-bF-vD6K-3AIva3nTQPP4BKsf88TcNjsUb4MfI/s320/100_1972.JPG" border="0" />The one item I couldn't get enough of were some brownies I made, along with the spinach dip Big A brought over. Thanks to my mother, I found the recipe for the brownies, also known as brookies at <a href="http://www.bakerella.com/">www.bakerella.com</a>. You need to go check it out, they are chocolate brownies mixed with chocolate chip cookies. I wish I had a better picture of them, but the rest of them got sent home with friends so I would stay away from them.<br /><div></div></div>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-68010928210851170722009-01-05T17:58:00.000-08:002009-01-05T18:08:23.561-08:00A little behind...<div>Ok, so I know I told all of you that I would post weekly pictures of myself on here so you could see my belly growing. Well, my belly doesn't really grow that much in a week right now, so for now, it will be monthly pictures. If your lucky I might blog about other things in between too. And now, with no further introduction, here is me at 14 weeks prego!</div><div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287995075679120386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN8KsfZdRYvbuBFgu9SeshWkFWyyD9ZxMhAtcb3WWcsBRzuimFfv1ruRO5X7TjgzU1VjH9OpccbvmRdgncxBR69zS8mNmCL1t4aqXSeK8iEInzaUJGJWClxXLUZWlrykpkFsJxBqWBL-s/s320/100_1970.JPG" border="0" /></div><br />The last 4 weeks have been really rough, but thankfully I think I'm done with the sickness part of being pregnant. Last Friday was our last doctor's appointment, and we were able to hear the heart beat for the 1st time. Its starting to all become so real, who would of thought I could create something inside of me. It makes me think of a saying my sister saw "I'm so crafty I can make babies." I think that might be my new motto for now.Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-17328185580373235102008-12-09T19:07:00.001-08:002008-12-09T19:21:40.218-08:00Ultrasound!<div>Monday was the big day, and my hubby and I got to see our peanut for the 1st time. The doctor did change our due date on us, and moved it to July 5<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span>. Who knows, we might end up having a little firecracker on the 4<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">th</span> of July! Here is one of the ultrasound pictures, you can't see the heart in it, but at the office it was beating very strong.</div><div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5277996003069862658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh22-FGLtSaXvlru6Rt6ZYEYir7kpq5E0JLGQ5D9FFjQ3Aja0ET1iPp8aVGEinc0Gb6fhG97yTotcdIqh-p2PNU42j1oZrfvB5I4zqMu1TzSUj7mgibQgKRRDCngAKMmvvCYqBEzs6u270/s200/100_1968.JPG" border="0" /></div>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-89842349831858343702008-12-06T08:20:00.001-08:002008-12-06T08:42:22.566-08:001st appointment!<div><div><div><div>So now it is official, my hubby and I are expecting our 1st baby. We went to our first doctors appointment yesterday, and the Doc said everything looked great. My due date is June 30th, and I'll be 11 weeks on tuesday. We get our 1st ultrasound on monday, and I'm really excited about it, my <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiDNC2qjph8jpafxK6ODnwx7kFAwlND-LNc_Ea0pZyQDNbIeolzgYbx6x72eK-K2sXHdkcPL72kM3LqYdFcfyQ_41sdvtUV82Q-t9HfzysF8_qFSvoP_FiFbPoxNG2d7nhEEU-F2Xj_Eo/s1600-h/100_1956.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276712905325245410" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiDNC2qjph8jpafxK6ODnwx7kFAwlND-LNc_Ea0pZyQDNbIeolzgYbx6x72eK-K2sXHdkcPL72kM3LqYdFcfyQ_41sdvtUV82Q-t9HfzysF8_qFSvoP_FiFbPoxNG2d7nhEEU-F2Xj_Eo/s200/100_1956.JPG" border="0" /></a>hubby says maybe a little to excited. Anyways, if I get to take home a picture I'll try to figure out a way to post it on here, but no promises. Here is a picture of me at 10 weeks though. Not the best picture, to me it just looks like I'm fat, but hopefully soon it will look like a real baby belly. I did promise a few people I would post weekly pictures of myself on here, and my DH has no objections of being the photographer. So with only 30 more weeks to go, there will be a lot more pictures on here for you to laugh, smile, or even cry at. Lord knows I never know which reaction I'm going to get each week.</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>Now I can't go ahead a post this entry without posting some pictures of our furry baby. The poor thing doesn't know whats coming, and I hope he doesn't get to jealous. In these pictures he looks huge with his big ol' noggin. Well he is huge, but maybe not quite as huge as he looks in these pictures.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGNL_kZh_MjjRvjF18gbMUcFykv-vkYJqNpoCjd3Dmau7rNEqFx9Z46mH6EucvRwe8JEro18Xj0QQhh9qxhQ4jYQiLWHZFb6UL0R5at_ToHAkZcPZoFBIvyP9PyFAdTg21kNARMgkB3Jg/s1600-h/100_1959.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276717417281393730" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGNL_kZh_MjjRvjF18gbMUcFykv-vkYJqNpoCjd3Dmau7rNEqFx9Z46mH6EucvRwe8JEro18Xj0QQhh9qxhQ4jYQiLWHZFb6UL0R5at_ToHAkZcPZoFBIvyP9PyFAdTg21kNARMgkB3Jg/s200/100_1959.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEislWpzPID5fJ2R_OXbluWEUfGyAWGm3HPkvLmIe5so7Q_O9Zut3vJCHObu-GvTw3nqdB0NF5_qyagh1Zk79zBimP0v3LrkeKT9KXOZmP8u2COMU7LkQyvCTuTreLgxSRXLRqJp31EI12M/s1600-h/100_1963.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276717683224486946" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEislWpzPID5fJ2R_OXbluWEUfGyAWGm3HPkvLmIe5so7Q_O9Zut3vJCHObu-GvTw3nqdB0NF5_qyagh1Zk79zBimP0v3LrkeKT9KXOZmP8u2COMU7LkQyvCTuTreLgxSRXLRqJp31EI12M/s200/100_1963.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276717060613427138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmDfuFl4jGYglLoTQRyAFPmr1hyphenhyphenDZqJbWSUthe_P7Rj0xHJxeffGdiS8_2DpG_K_NwYspbscazn7dUl_9DWO2WxaJ6a6tYb5XPMv_4liQFbZMJxY__FhmHAf2vDAy-BKJRhaemn1UtDK4/s200/100_1957.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /></div><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL1fYfC_V-CanWCHzy5eniKsI9LiXsFDXZuhFCRjmyZeE8RNOgsSQhUNt2Av5VlfjO-XwyxoOaK8GXkR1R8aoN4LRIQXDUdaLyhyAvZytjdoPgXPVK1sBWzbTflCCms8ZaUikPm8t-HLI/s1600-h/100_1953.JPG"></a></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-35819798738929506682008-08-16T06:30:00.000-07:002008-08-16T07:05:40.854-07:00A Day at the Fair!<div><div><div><div><div><div>Kentucky state fair was in big swing this summer again, and my hubby and I had to make our yearly trip to indulge in games, shows, <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">exhibits</span>, draft beer and best of all, the food.<br /></div><div>We 1st caught a show of dancing and singing pigs, silly I know, but cute at the same time. My favorite was <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Chestor</span>, he was the singing pig in the sunglasses. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235109109865040834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg7GJ4MaoFl5tJdMqnWzuwHr-9FC3sB_hl1_hCgyjE5rTYDvP8xOsqbEpd7KMukGqAO0bjrZCi3HU32Mht_bVQJlzUq1M-Z1mA4EMhANatsA6cawFtwHS-AOzlDFo7ARidn75J_7rpMLc/s320/100_1883.JPG" border="0" /></div></div><br /><p>After the show, we walked around the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">exhibits</span>, and I spent the most time in the quilt <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">exhibit</span>. I found some I really liked, and some that looked impossible to make. Here are some pictures of quilts I saw, one was made by the same fabric and blocks as one my mother made. That picture is for her.<br /></p><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235110512112931026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3-75Y005Dmnn5YOjbYlZ4WQXUQvBncs5bbBSIe5n0WIeQ6cLm9YfS32FQEYovHTlm_NOMNCH6dZ3PuUrduFcN5Ge8GPL_oVZCW1MU1Np91J_GQvr8tLwzkflgh8-py5HCCTxFVyIcUtc/s320/100_1885.JPG" border="0" /></p></div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235110893676286002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjldsAU8Hl2q6QOEhl-CZYwhcZE2PyROopSmOerIyQkbH0y6eSqlOCJUP3lszZw8uZ1XfwTi2Py6F-02me9LfMKm2HjoXp4bvqhCx_Fhu9xI6CeXUcIutS12nq0Eq7LgNtgTEGG-r8sj7s/s320/100_1884.JPG" border="0" /></div><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235111192607349778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDRBQm-dIoTQ9kkzOMQej7IluLV_RJ_R7UM7CN0ZvQAz49Yy9Jp0RWyOneCJKB0ARnFbEvt-N48epIs7jJdI0Ey1zV-6VUPZIpCePmxk0F6OTsoIiSXkYoomcY6guxqiDWODkMgve63s4/s320/100_1886.JPG" border="0" /></p><p>These were beautiful <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">aren't</span> they? Maybe some day I will have something to enter into the fair.</p><p>Next we went onto the games, my hubby and I were going to try to win a stuffed animal for our big baby, Leo. He loves to chew up anything with soft fabric and stuffing. Hubby tried his hand at the b<span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">eebe</span> gun, and I threw some <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">skeeball</span>. And look what I won..... (Leo is currently tearing this guy apart) I feel kinda bad for the guy, he was really cute, but hubby wouldn't let me keep him.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235112978956645202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggNyzNMLMD6CVp22eMZL7dGkyWhpMz-x-_NVuiVTvvbTfhJNYzOqHovOLd0HalRv-k0ITeKKL8CDmijVl59va6xr1t_eci09XrgmLCI6KWK-VpXGOsSGz36jdvlGt5D8DPcHBMSEm95zE/s320/100_1891.JPG" border="0" />Now that I am done with the activities we did, here is ALL the food we ate. Yes it was <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">allot</span>. We started with my all time favorite when we got there, gyros. They were <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">soooooooo</span> good, nothing beats a fair gyro. Later we went to <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">separate</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">booths</span>, but both enjoyed <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11">different</span> foods on a stick. Once you add "on a stick" to your fair food, you know its going to be 10x better. I went with the classic, corn dog on a stick, but hubby went for pork butt on a stick. Don't tell Chester, but it was really good. Then of course right before we left we had to get <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12">everyones</span> favorite from the fair, and I will leave you with a picture of this wonderful pastry.</p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235115000621586658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBJ8xltoNj9oSZrRc86iH2Ie12cTDLD7G3A4zqhyphenhyphenBLewEF_yPJpTJ-7oOxu2gJfUdMn-hs_t202msVEOMeX8xSIsOpePyd9jpHjdsww20N1coOYJhGeh8TOZL9K_OAsPkO_gU_BuRG2bM/s320/100_1895.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p><br /></p><br /><p></p></div>Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-25556626036629075742008-08-12T17:41:00.000-07:002008-08-12T18:02:54.041-07:00Its finished!<div><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233796337392823250" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrH-5qSIJ1YgpdArKnytt4owS4nMRS2UW-vInpDvGRE5-I2DU3ofwyjJ75tjtUMZoIfJRZl9H_SdAeV5yYsdfQ7YJh4qdpv5-qHaZnOZHRgtgPibD8Z_NZJrZm2yHKxF4SWmWOjvCGFdk/s320/100_1873.JPG" border="0" /></div><div>So my hubby can finally relax and enjoy his backyard. The answer is probably a little bit of both. Not long ago, my hubby and I watched dinner impossible on food network channel, and watched the guy make an incredibley tasty looking dessert with bacon. We couldn't help but make our own version and try it ourselves.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231217678274283922" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0vOcbEZM2uXqd2I6k7ENbNsPPG6wl0YzOup6RANyIjtMEcVnTtJKAouT0T9LbVfhREyWF-k4-PLUAhh7sh8G8qw3cA87hvRu2HX8Ooyu0G3X7t4iKGP48qG6qpwHhui3wRNg1ke3Yk7w/s320/100_1845.JPG" border="0" /><br />It turns out this salty sweet treat is wonderful! If and when I ever get my own bakery up and running, I have decided that this will be an addition to the menu. In the mean time, If you ever have a craving for something extremely bad for you, I suggest to try this.Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-24172585287380830882008-08-04T12:47:00.001-07:002008-08-04T12:56:30.545-07:00It's finally over! For those of you who know me well, you know that I have been stressing and working my butt off for work lately. I had a huge evaluation at work today, and all of my hard work has finally paid off. Its been a tough 2 weeks trying to get everything togeather, and to tell you the truth, at the start of it all I didn't think I could pull it off. Boy was I wrong. The rest of the gang and I at work pulled threw and showed all of the big wigs we can be given a task and not only accomplish it, but exceed <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">their</span> expectations. I have never felt so good leaving work then I did today. To bad today was supposed to be my day off. <br /><br />Now that all that stress is over, my <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">nephew</span> can be born at any time. I was so afraid that my sis in law would go into labor last night or this morning, and I wouldn't be able to make it in time for his arrival. All is good now, and I cannot wait for his sweet cheeks to be born.Brookehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12369329915540066913noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56483575907307459.post-29399609265534075322008-08-03T10:17:00.000-07:002008-08-03T11:13:12.951-07:00A long time ago!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQrLkuxtTjzKDdOc2cOsA4zSHNwbat_M2Dj5A-LtWskTgyE8B79d2h1ZZ0JlsDM7ba3gba-HxRyuDTGWEeMtLaGcY6hNzQIKUZ05QM3WElvwq57JaOirmQ_14lmiGndApe0ghFDQUSWeU/s1600-h/100_1839.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230349102700059122" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQrLkuxtTjzKDdOc2cOsA4zSHNwbat_M2Dj5A-LtWskTgyE8B79d2h1ZZ0JlsDM7ba3gba-HxRyuDTGWEeMtLaGcY6hNzQIKUZ05QM3WElvwq57JaOirmQ_14lmiGndApe0ghFDQUSWeU/s320/100_1839.JPG" border="0" /></a> So it's been a long time since I've started this blog, and who knows if it will continue. I just figured I'd give it a try again. The last post was when my hubby and I got our 1st puppy. Well he is still a puppy being only 10 months old, but does not look like it anymore. He has become very spoiled, so spoiled that his daddy decided we needed to build a fence just for him.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXZ9m_oM0ccscND7FAURGqwXC2TlC83IPI1yoEm0WJRW8XvLyehec-xpzJJBx3gL9KSgjGnoqe1-bPUUnE5HyOLtjyIs5yIc6_E55N7sCBDrSCA_PAjnCPR35sjINO5XldjRASo-cos6I/s1600-h/100_1842.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230348693888966530" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXZ9m_oM0ccscND7FAURGqwXC2TlC83IPI1yoEm0WJRW8XvLyehec-xpzJJBx3gL9KSgjGnoqe1-bPUUnE5HyOLtjyIs5yIc6_E55N7sCBDrSCA_PAjnCPR35sjINO5XldjRASo-cos6I/s320/100_1842.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I have to admit, the fence has come along nicely, and I do like not having to worry about Leo out back anymore. When the whole thing gets finished, maybe I will post some pictures of it all. Maybe another reason to continue the blog? Hubby has been talking about building Leo a dog house as well. It will have to be a large one for him at 75lbs and growing.</div><div> </div><div>Along side of being entertained by the dog, I've been working on some of my hobbies. I have some secret projects in store, but no pictures until Christmas. I know so long, but who knows who will sneak a peak. I do plan on doing a few things for myself here soon. I have some Christmas and fall projects I'm dying to get my hands on.
